Through our IMPACT Plus program, Sunrise Children's Services serves Medicaid-eligible individuals under age 21 who have a diagnosed psychiatric disorder, a six-month history of emotional and behavioral problems - at home, school and in the community - and are at risk of being institutionalized. Our counseling team coordinates care for those children, working one-on-one with families to reduce the child's risk of hospitalization or placement outside the home. In addition to service coordination, in-home and in-school counseling services are provided to help facilitate change as needed in those settings.
