As a statewide comprehensive organization our programs include therapeutic foster care, residential treatment programs, psychiatric residential treatment, foster-to-adopt services, counseling, in-home case management, detention alternative and family preservation services.
In many cases, Sunrise also works with the child's biological parents or guardian to ensure the child's success and safety is they can return home. This is achieved through mentoring, parenting classes, and connecting the family with community resources.
Sunrise cares for generations to come by breaking the cycle of abuse now. Without therapeutic intervention, victimized children are statistically more likely to become abusers when they grow up.
The work being done now at Sunrise impacts communities across Kentucky as these children grow to become tomorrow's adult citizens.
