Thanksgiving Offering
Thanksgiving Offering is Sunrise's annual opportunity to appeal to the churches for much-needed funding. We encourage the churches to pick a time of year that fits best with their schedule. Materials (i.e. bulletin inserts, pew envelopes, posters, etc.) are available year-round. Call Ellen Hale at (800) 456-1386 to request materials or e-mail her at ehale@sunrise.org.

Smiles for Life Teeth Whitening Promotion
hosted by Paducah Dental Care and Holland Advanced Dentistry
From March through June, dentists across the country are participating in Smiles for Life. With this program, you visit a participating dentist for deeply reduced teeth whitening services and children's charities in your community receive 100% of the money. In the Paducah area, two dental offices have chosen Sunrise as their charity! Visit Holland Advanced Dentistry (270-534-4887) or Paducah Dental Care (270-444-6414) and ask to participate in Smiles for Life and your whiter pearly whites will result in much needed funds for Sunrise's Genesis Center in Mayfield. Not in Paducah? Visit http://www.smilesforlife.org to find a participating dentist near you or call your primary dentist and ask them to support Sunrise Children's Services through Smiles for Life. CAP is a unique residential treatment center that focuses on helping young men heal through a program that focuses on discipline and teamwork in a wilderness setting. Glen Dale Center Grand Opening

Join the Elizabethtown Chamber of Commerce and local officials at a ribbon cutting and open house for Sunrise's newest facility. Formerly located in Glen Dale, Ky., the new facility in Elizabethtown will offer a safe, structured environment for up to 20 teenage girls at a time. The girls served by Glen Dale come with a history of severe emotional, physical or sexual abuse and have been removed from their families by state social services.

Glen Dale Children's Home alumni and their friends and family are invited to join us at Gilead Baptist Church for the annual alumni celebration. The worship service (optional) begins at 11 a.m. Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. RSVP to Ellen Hale by calling (800) 456-1386 and let her know how many people will be coming with you so we can judge how much food will be needed. (Note: The location has been moved to the church because Glen Dale will be in the process of moving to the new Elizabethtown campus and will be closed to visitors.)

Golf for the Kids
