Sunrise’s newest residential program, One Bridge to Hope, in Springfield, is celebrating its first four high school graduates! All four girls graduated from Washington County High School.

This is a tremendous accomplishment for these girls and for One Bridge.

Our graduates were asked to share about their future plans. This is what they said:

“Being at One Bridge to Hope has helped me grow to become a better individual, and being here has helped me form my future goals. Hopefully, in the next year, I’ll be able to acquire my MAA and CNA certifications so in the long run I can be a registered nurse.”

“My future plans are to transition home, continue building, and working on myself. When I turn of age, my goal is to attend beauty school.”

“I am leaving the program focused on building a better future for myself. I plan to attend the University of Louisville while saving money so I can eventually transfer to the school of my dreams in New York City and continue pursing my goals.”

“My goal is to go home and build a healthier relationship with my family. I plan to find a job and work until I can go to college.”

Whether it’s becoming a nurse, attending beauty school, pursuing a dream school in New York City, or finding a good-paying job, all four girls are chasing their dreams and looking forward to a bright future. More than that, they are putting into practice what they have learned at Sunrise, are building healthier relationships, and are becoming the young women God created them to be.

We are all so very proud of these girls and of One Bridge to Hope!
