The Waymaker Scholarship

Sunrise in partnership with the Paul Mitchell School is proud to offer two full enrollment $20,000 scholarships.

The goal of this scholarship is to serve our community and serve the families/kids who are in similar demographics that we serve through our Residential, Foster Care, and Community Based Services. The opportunity for this scholarship will go beyond impacting Sunrise (our organization). Our mission is to serve children in crisis. Youth in foster care, residential treatment, independent living and our approved community partner programs will be eligible to apply.

Application Details

• Application process will include essay questions and 2 letters of recommendations.
• Applications may be submitted starting on March 15th.
• Submissions due by end of day April 16th.
• The Scholarship winners will be announced Friday, May 14th
• One winner will be selected for the Lexington location and one for the Louisville location.
• Miss. Kentucky will announce the first recipients.
• Recipients will be selected via an approved mixed representation of community partner committee and Paul Mitchell ownership.
